The P200 offers full support of every audio format on the market, including immersive surround sound such as Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X, and AURO-3D®. And there’s no need to pick sides. At the touch of a button, you can switch between speakers placed at the positions recommended for any specific format, or have your speakers be optimized for one and let the P200 intelligently optimize the audio for the other formats.
The P200 features proprietary RoomPerfect™ room-correction technology, designed to intelligently adapt the sound system to the acoustic characteristics of the listening environment. This allows it to deliver a precise and immersive surround sound experience without requiring extensive acoustic treatment.
The P200 is designed exclusively for use with Steinway Lyngdorf amplifiers and speakers. This fully integrated approach ensures that every component works together to achieve the level of performance associated with the Steinway & Sons partnership. By eliminating compromises between products from different manufacturers, the system maintains consistent quality and efficiency throughout the entire signal chain.
All Steinway Lyngdorf systems are 100% digital, without sound-deteriorating digital-to-analogue conversions anywhere in the audio chain. This means our fully digital processors and amplifiers ensure sound is replayed completely intact, delivering the purest sound possible. Fully digital processing, in combination with the Steinway Lyngdorf Digital Link (a link cable that will carry an encrypted signal communicating both the initial setup as well as the digital audio signal and control data) keeps the audio stream entirely in the digital domain, while maintaining full resolution of the original signal.
